The featured article was "Best of Showhouses 1999" and Ms. Syrek's master bedroom design for the man was chosen. The room was designed for Mills Mansion in Staatsburg, NY and
may be viewed in the Interior Design area of this site under "bedrooms".
The inspiration for the space was a combination of "East Meets West" and combines comfort and serenity with the energy balance of the Feng Shui philosophy. The room's palette is earthen greens rising to a deep cinnabar accented wall with antique chinese cabinets and a handmade Fortuny silk chandelier from Venice!
