Mr.Loeb's artistic excellence is demonstrated in his ability to carefully layer the images of his paintings so the eye peels each one back for an individual experience. The images are so carefully orchestrated that they compel one to step further into the art and then step back and look again. The diverse range of subject and object moves one through many emotions; sensuality, mystery, pain, beauty and love in all its forms. He allows one to see both his vulnerability in his portraits of family and wife, and his strength of purpose in the directness of simple still lifes, be it fruit or flower. He has traveled the world, residing in France for a time, and carries the neo-classic style of the centuries on his brush with each decisive, fresh stroke.
