According to Marion Vinot "art is a room with a view. Painting is the meeting of the forms and colors born of the tastes and humors of the moment. This exteriorisation of an emotional knowledge locked in the soul is a means of liberating static images and creating motion. It is for a moment to make of the past an abstraction and to place it in the present."
"It is also a quest for self-knowledge which is the door to higher knowledge. We say it is also by the view of the heart that we can accede to it. I think also that by this view we could attain a mutual comprehension. The quest for knowledge is an interior voyage and also a voyage through or across others, which each among us lives in our own manner to bring peace in our heart and peace in the world. Painting is for me a way of acceding to the comprehension of that which is: the Present and its magic."
